WGF was born in 1975 supporting United States Steel Corporation’s 1600 acre plant with custom fabrication, steel plate rolling services and the manufacturing of gas recovery units. This business expanded as time passed with heavy plate rolling and custom fabrication for many companies located throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. You can say we have some serious experience in fabricating metal products.
The real craftmanship is in the welding and assembly of the formed products we make. Our team of AWS-certified welding technicians are highly skilled. As an Employee-Owned company, our team has a vested interest in fabricating your custom rolled products without any flaws. Tank Fabrication
The stainless steel fabrication work we do is for all different types of customers. Many of our customers are equipment manufacturers and specialty tank manufactures. These customers often supply us the valves and specialty fittings along with the design specs as it is more efficient if they already have these items in stock. We can also internally source these components if needed. Not all plate rolling fabricators can work with stainless steel. The welds are certainly more challenging but never beyond our skillset. We are experts in many types of storage tanks and low pressure welded vessels.
Waste Gas Fabricating Co. maintains an impressive just-in-time inventory, including many different grades of carbon and stainless steel, suitable for both sheet and heavy plate fabrication. Specialty metals, such as abrasion resistant plate and all grades of aluminum, are available in a wide range of thicknesses.
