Our new Okuma MILLAC 853PF-5X 5-axis machining center is built for high-precision machining of large, long and complex structural metal components. With a 126-inch-long table and 120 inches of X-axis travel, it provides the work envelope needed for oversized aerospace airframe sections, rail components, marine structures and other large workpieces. The A/B-axis head swivels and swings ±35° on both axes, allowing complex surfaces, angles and contours to be machined with fewer setups and greater dimensional consistency. The MILLAC 853PF-5X profiles massive workpieces made from aluminum to heavier alloys. Its CAT50 Plus 12,000-RPM, 75-hp spindle delivers the power and rigidity required for aggressive material removal, while the 30-tool automatic tool changer supports efficient multitasking. The Okuma Fanuc 31i-M control provides precise, repeatable control for demanding 5-axis work.
